How To Make Boilies

How to make boilies, the first step in this process is to make the much wanted flavored paste. The rolling of this into many small balls is done which is followed by boiling the same; hence the name boilies is given. Finally it is dried up and frozen. The constituents which are need is eggs, a sweetener, a base mix and a liquid flavor.

The use of this sweetener in this preparation is basically a personal choice. It is not only used for making the boilies better but also for making it more useful. Though it differs from individual opinion to opinion of the carps as to whether it is actually needed or not, but it is found in most of their baits. Inclusion of baits may sometimes boosts confidence which make the whole process a better one.

For binding the mix together, eggs are used and during this entire boiling process, this helps form a hard coating just outside the boilie.

The process for making boilie is given as follows:

1. For making the base mix, 8oz of Semolina which is mostly available in any supermarkets, 4 oz of ground rice and 4 oz of soya flour are mixed.
2. The Semolina, ground rice and soya flour are then mixed and put in a large freezer bag and if it is to make red boilies, one can also add half tea spoon full of red powdered dye also.
3. For making a liquid dye, one can also add eggs in the later stages.
4. Blowing up the bag, followed by twisting it to lock the air inside it is very much important.
5. Now for making the boilies, 2.5 ml of Mulberry Florentine, 5 ml scopex and 3 ml intense sweetener are mixed together.
6. 4 eggs are cracked and added to it to make the composition more affective. The quantity of the above prescribed constituents varies from one to another and there is no fixed format for the same. The eggs are to beaten to make it a perfect mix.
7. Finally the base mix is added to the eggs and stirred with a fork until and unless it turns into porridge.
8. Slowly and slowly the base mix is added to make the perfect boilie just required to get the things done.

Thus, the moment the firm ball is formed one should be assured that the boilies are ready to be used for.
